Banana Dessert

For some years now, my family has celebrated my wedding anniversary by calling it Founder's Day (the day the family was founded) and having a very silly party.  It is one of our favorite traditions.  This year, we had a Banana-versary with a Going Bananas theme.  I created this dessert for the party.  It was a hit!  You can find the component recipes under Banana Cake and Banana Sauce.  We combined them with vanilla ice cream and topped it with whipped topping for fun.  After the hoop-la, I found my favorite combination was just the cake topped with warm sauce.  Hope you enjoy it too!
